THE 3 (E`S) OF HIGHLY PRODUCTIVE PEOPLE… WHAT THEY DO YOU DON’T DO

archerThe search for a more productive life has led to certain misapprehension about what productivity really is — and it’s a lot more than checking tasks off your to-do list. Truly productive people aren’t focused on doing more things; this is actually the opposite of productivity. If you really want to be productive, you’ve got to make a point to do fewer things.

Productivity is A measure of the efficiency of a person, machine, factory, system, etc., in converting inputs into useful outputs. Basically, the keyword here is EFFICIENCY.

The prevalent idea of productivity is the aptitude to churn out a lot of work in a short range of time. True, but not complete. IMO says, true productivity is the ability to create a lot of high impact work in a short span of time. This is the fundamental of productivity we should concern ourselves with, not other kinds of productivity which are more empty / busy work that create no impact in the long term.

It is easy to carry out numerous activities daily thinking we are being productive whereas we are just running around in circles. Activities do not measure or equate progress. A wheel can be moving yet at a point, not pushing forward.EFFICIENT

THERE ARE THREE E`S OF HIGHLY PRODUCTIVE PEOPLE AND HERE ARE THEY:

EXCEED EXPECTATIONS: Highly productive people always leave people in awe. You never meet them doing or stopping at what they were asked to do. They are highly instinctive, looking for ways to topple their last good. They never believe in good while the best can be gotten.

If you must be relevant, then you must set yourself apart. Set the pace always, no matter how little what you do is, do it differently and add more. Everyone in the world today is asking for more, so be the one who gives the more, and more people will come around.

NOTE: The expectations you surpass today becomes the seed for new breaks in the future. This may seem to be an obvious fact, but many people fail to connect today’s actions with future opportunities. By that I mean they approach exceeding expectations as a one-off special event rather than a way of life. Exceeding expectations is a foundational attitude and something that you have to pursue daily. Exceeding expectations is a proactive effort that is always looking for a way to express itself. Exceeding expectations is a completely voluntary activity and when it becomes foundational to the way you think it has the power to elevate value and become the seed for new opportunity.
