The granddaddy law of the universe states that whatever result we see in our lives we put them there, it says we are responsible for the quality of life we have and see around us. This is the law of cause and effect. This law makes us often, become so much worried about our choices. We hope to make the right decision at all times. No matter how many tricks you have up your sleeve, the decision-making course is never relaxed., you’re bound to lose a little sleep over the big decisions. Show me someone who hasn’t made a bad decision and I’ll show you someone who is either not being honest, or someone who never achieved anything.
Making comprehensive choices is a skill that needs to be developed and learned like any other. Working with youths almost on a daily basis, I can tell you with great inevitability that humans are not created equal when it comes to the aptitude of their decision-making skills. Nothing will test your growth more than your ability to make decisions.
You cannot separate leadership from decision making; like it or not, they are unavoidably related. Why do people flop? They make bad decisions. And in some instances, they compound bad decision upon bad decision. Simply put, the results of a people’s choices and decisions can, and usually will, make or mar them.
If you’re really struggling to make great choices, here are a few ways to make the process a little easier on yourself as you work through all the possibilities.
Tune to the source:
I always say that we have a source, and trusting our source to help us through on decisions goes a long way in really showing our faith base. The scriptures say that God is our ever-present help in times of need, so do well to tune in to gain help now that you need it.
trying to make decisions can make us really fidgety, where we get so focused on the immediate consequences of the decision at hand that we don’t think about the eventual outcomes we expect or desire. Trying to make decisions it’ll do us good looking at the eventual result of the choice we make.
Weigh alternative options:
check and consider your alternatives closely and carefully, check for which has the most positive impact and outcome on you, this will be a guide.
At the end of the day, its your call:
You must agree to take full responsibility for whatever option you make and accept the outcomes in good faith. Whatever process you use to arrive at your decision, your satisfaction with your decision will depend largely on whether you claim ownership of your choices If you feel pressured into a choice or not in control of the conditions, you’ll find even positive outcomes colored negatively.
finally, life is a pool of risk, and only the brave eventually make meaning out of life, so you must agree to dare.
